Webometrics Ranking : Ranking Web of World Universities

อันดับ (แยกตามเกณฑ์ Size, Visibility, Rich Files, Scholar)

July'2012 :

PRESENCE (20%). The global volume of contents published on the university webdomains as indexed by the largest commercial search engine (Google). It counts every webpage, including all the formats recognized individually by Google, both static and dynamic pages

OPENNESS (15%) The global effort to set up institutional research repositories is explicitly recognized in this indicator that takes into account the number of rich files (pdf, doc, docx, ppt) published in dedicated websites according to the academic search engine Google Scholar.

EXCELLENCE (15%) The academic papers published in high impact international journals. Tthe university scientific output being part of the 10% of the most cited papers in their respective scientific fields. (Scimago group)

IMPACT (50%) The quality of the contents is evaluated through a "virtual referendum", counting all the external inlinks that the University webdomain receives from third parties. (Majestic SEO and ahrefs)

Jan'2012 :

• Size: Total number of web pages (by Google), excluding the rich files (10%)
• Rich files: The sum of the following file types(by Google): pdf, doc+docx, ppt+ppts and ps+eps (10%)
  
• Scholar: The combination of the number of papers in Google Scholar for the period 2007-2011 with the number of papers (2003-2010) collected by the Scimago group (30%).

SCImago Institutions Rankings (SIR)

SIR World Reports 2012 is the most comprehensive ranking of Worldwide Research Institutions. SIR World Report 2011 IS NOT A LEAGUE TABLE. The ranking parameter – the scientific output of institutions-- should be understood as a default rank, not our ranking proposal. The only goal of this report is to characterize research outcomes of organizations so as to provide useful scientometric information to institutions, policymakers and research managers so they are able to analyze, evaluate and improve their research results. If someone uses this report to rank institutions or to build a league table with any purpose, he/she will do it under his/her own responsibility.
